Why Internet Date?

Hi again Thanks for popping by and viewing my blog.
This blog is about my future wife.
As I did not truly meet my lovely lady Anastasiya via Internet. It was although,the result of Internet meeting and dating that brought us together. So I thought I would share a bit about my experiences with this venue.
So I guess I'll start with my reason for choosing Internet meeting/dating. One reason I started seeking my lady on line was my geography. I live in a very small town. It is a working town so there are very few single ladies here. Being a small town I pretty much know all of them also.Of the available single ladies in my town ,none are what I seek in a lady.
Maybe one could call me to fussy or to high in my expectations! I feel it is neither. I think I am just a little to old fashioned and the average North American lady is very modern and westernized in their thinking.
It seems the average lady here puts more credence on money and possessions than love. It is very obvious to me with my vehicles. A lady that sees me driving my Mazda pickup will barely notice me.Yet when I pull up in one of my BMW's suddenly I'm worthy of a pleasant smile and a double take. The same true when meeting for a first date. A lady here will act a lot more pleasant towards me when I pick her up in a fancy car. The attitude is even more pleasant if she is aware that I own a business and a few properties.
So that is part of why I call myself old fashioned. I still want a lady that loves me, not my stuff! Don't get me wrong ; I do realise money plays an important part in every ones life and life style. I just don't wish money to be the basis of my relationship.
I also believe a lady should care for her appearance and health. These days it seems the average lady in North America (men also)is over weight .This is probably because of diet. Every one is convinced they are to busy, so it's easier to eat fast foods or pre prepared foods from the grocery store . Fewer and fewer can even cook, let alone cook a healthy meal! One will find that eating healthier will increase energy levels and all those daily tasks will go easier and faster, thus freeing up time to make that healthy meal. Plus the extra weight would would be easier to loose.
The mentality towards marriage has also changed drastically in North America. The old vow of "Till death do us part" is very rarely honored. Most people are not willing to devote the time,work and effort needed to sustain a successful relationship or marriage. It was not that long ago that one was socially shunned for being divorced. The attitude today is " oh so was that only your first marriage?"
So with all this said, those were my reasons for seeking my lady abroad.

How I Met My Lovely Anastasiya

The story of how Anastasiya and myself actually met is quite interesting.We see it more as fate and destiny. It started with my own search for a potential future relationship. I was frustrated with the mentality of north American woman. I am a little old school and wished a lady that could truly be my soul mate. I want a relationship where the two join as a team and become a combined entity. The average north American woman is now very independent and this total bond seems impossible. It seems love and devotion are no longer the main elements a woman here wants.

I searched my thoughts and tried to figure out where I would find a woman like I desired. I am Ukrainian by heritage. I searched my memories of childhood and discovered that my aunts and cousins , possessed the qualities ,I was seeking in a lady. Thus I decided to search my roots and tried meeting ladies from the Ukraine.

Of coarse being in north America made this difficult. I am not a rich man so to fly over there to try to meet one was not an option. I did like so many others do now. I began my search on line. To my surprise I found that the average Ukrainian lady,still possessed the qualities I was seeking in a lady.

I was also very surprised at the level of interest the woman there displayed towards me. I am just an average guy in my mid 40's. I began receiving over 30 emails a day plus as many chat requests.All from very attractive and interesting ladies. They ranged from 18-50 years old. One more thing that surprised me , was that Ukrainian woman mature much sooner than here. They are mentally ready for marriage and family at a much younger age than most woman here. Plus they take marriage and family seriously. They will work hard at the marriage.

So I did narrow it down to one lady I wished to meet in live. We had chatted for several months prior and I saved the money to go visit her. As it turned out our meeting was not a success( We had gone from meeting on line to discussing love and life in a short while. We didn't take enough time learning if we were even compatible. Thus our meeting did not work out.

It was only a couple days into our meeting ,that we discovered it was not going to work for us. Now I was in a strange country alone for another several days. I went back on line and contacted a lady friend I had previously chatted with there. She was away on a trip so we could not visit at that time.She did although inform me that her best friend was interested in me and would like meeting.

It was the next morning I met my lovely Anastasiya:) The moment we met and we looked into each others eyes, was the beginning of our love. It has grown and gets stronger each day. We now plan to marry and start our lives together.

So that is how we met.

Valentines Has Passed

So valentines day has passed.I hope you all were as successful as I, in pleasing your loved one. Even with that special day passed I try each day to bring a smile of happiness to my lovely Anastasiya. My happiness revolves around hers.

This site was originally intended, as a letter to my love and part of her valentine gift. I wanted her to see her pretty name published for the whole world to see. Plus a public admission for the world to know my love for her.

We plan to marry this summer and start our future and family together. We are very much in love and look forward to a life of happiness together.

I was surprised to see that many other people had viewed my blog letter to my lady.It began privately and is now very public. With a wish not to embarrass her, I plan to start a different private blog ,for her only. I will leave this one public.
